POSITION SUMMARY:
As the Electrical Engineering Lead at Evolution Well Services' (EVO) you will leverage your technical expertise and leadership acumen to oversee a team comprising electrical designers/draftsmen and electrical engineers. Your role involves orchestrating work assignments and timelines pertinent to electrical systems design, buildout, troubleshooting and continuous improvement efforts for EVO’s hydraulic fracturing fleet equipment.
Your foremost responsibility as Electrical Engineering Lead is to focus on achievement of goals and align resources as necessary to achieve those goals within allocated timeframe. To do this you will need to align multiple internal groups, companies, vendors, technologies and processes. You will also manage the day-to-day activities encompassing electrical equipment fabrication, assembly, testing, and field operations troubleshooting. Beyond this, you will engage in implementing design and database improvements and manage electrical engineering ECR/ECO/ECN processes. This multifaceted role extends to collaboration with other essential units within EVO, including Innovation Engineering team and Asset Integrity. Your input will be indispensable in lending electrical engineering support for research and development endeavors as well as in the strategic revamping of equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical design, drafting, data management, proficiency in CAD software and a passion for delivering high-quality work products in a time-efficient manner.

The Lead electrical engineer works primarily indoors and will be sitting for prolonged periods at a desk, while typing on a computer, whether in home office, corporate office, client office, or EVO jobsite. Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities. When required to visit a wellsite, the Lead electrical engineer ’s work environment may include exposure to hazardous materials, operating conditions, audio up to 85 dB and inclement weather, including typical and atypical outdoor elements and extreme cold and hot weather temperatures. Given these conditions, if visiting a pad, the Electrical Designer may be required to wear company-mandated and issued personal protective equipment (PPE) (fire retardant coveralls, safety hat, steel-toe boots, safety glasses, ear protection and safety gloves) and must strictly adhere to all safety policies. The Lead electrical engineer must be able to lift 25 lbs. independently, and will be required to walk, climb, bend, reach, squat/kneel.
Work hours may include early morning, late afternoon/evening hours, and weekends in combination depending on job necessity.
