YOUR IMPACT

We are looking for engineer with experience in Windows enterprise infrastructure, who understand the requirements for global, distributed platforms that require very high levels of uptime.

HOW WILL YOU FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

• Work with a global team of highly motivated platform engineers and software developers 
• Execute the full software product lifecycle: analysis, technical design, development, testing, release, monitor, support
• Collaborate with engineers from other platform teams to design and implement new features
• Engage in production troubleshooting and user escalations
• Adhere to and drive SRE disciplines and processes across the global workplace engineering team
• Balance feature development velocity and reliability with well-defined service level objectives (SLOs)
• Run the Production environment by monitoring availability and taking a holistic view of system health
• Analyze data to diagnose and identify root causes of platform/user issues
• Develop tools and services to automate, mitigation and remediation of platform/user issues
• Manage end-to-end availability and performance of mission critical services and build automation to prevent problem recurrence. 
• Design, write and deliver software to improve the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of our global network.
• Drive incident management process and support a blameless post-mortems culture.
• Participate in system design consulting, platform management, and capacity planning.
• The successful candidate will have outstanding verbal and written communications, a natural ability to learn in a fast-paced environment, and will be a self-starter with plenty of initiative

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

• 3 to 5 years of experience in a DevOps/Site Reliability Engineering role or similar
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field involving coding and/or systems engineering
• Experience developing, deploying, and supporting software across the full Continuous Delivery life cycle
• Solid experience of version control, continuous integration, deployment, and configuration management tools 
• Proficiency in designing, developing, and testing software in one or more of C#, .NET, Java, Python; willingness to learn and adopt new languages as necessary
• Experience with Jenkins, Git, PowerShell scripting, Schedulers (Task Scheduler, Autosys, Crontab, Process Monitor, etc.)
• Experience developing, configuring and working with Azure Services, AVD/Windows 365
• Good understanding of Intune configuration profile, Compliance policies and conditional access policies
• Proficiency in Application deployment, Windows update management and OS upgrades
• Proactively identify efficiency and design improvements to existing systems and processes.
• The ability to understand and effectively debug both new and existing software. 
• The ability to communicate technical concepts effectively, both in writing and orally, as well as the interpersonal skills required to collaborate effectively with colleagues across diverse technology teams.

• Experience with algorithms, data structures and software design

Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience with distributed systems design, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Citrix and VDI environments 
• Microsoft Azure DevOps Engineer Expert Certification
• MECM/SCCM based endpoint management, Application deployment, Patching/Windows update management, Operating system deployment
• Strong interpersonal skills, drive, and ownership.
• Coding beyond simple scripts.
• Solving novel problems from first principles.
