You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining ABAP-based solutions in collaboration with functional team members and mostly independently. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in ABAP programming and a desire to expand their skills in areas such as HANA and enhancement techniques. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth and development.

• Assisting in the design, development, testing, and implementation of ABAP-based solutions.

• Collaborating with senior team members to understand business requirements and provide technical support.

• Developing and maintaining ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, and enhancements independently without guidance.

• Participating in code reviews and adhering to coding standards and best practices.

• Assisting in the troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues related to ABAP development.

• Supporting the creation and maintenance of technical documentation.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate ABAP solutions with other systems and modules.

• Assisting in performance tuning and optimization of ABAP programs.

• Staying up to date with the latest developments and advancements in SAP ABAP technology.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What we’re looking for...

You will need to have:

• Bachelor's degree or four or more years of experience.

• Four or more years of experience as an SAP ABAP Developer. Minimum 1yr of experience in ABAP on HANA

• Strong knowledge of ABAP programming language.

• Expertise in basic ABAP concepts such as reports, function modules, class methods etc.

• Knowledge of IDOC, Enhancement framework and Workflow

• Experience with ABAP debugging and troubleshooting techniques.

• Knowledge of SAP modules such as FI, SD and MM.

• Knowledge to interface, conversion techniques and enhancement techniques (user exits, BAdIs, enhancements spots, etc.) is preferred.

•  analytical and problem-solving skills.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• SAP certification in ABAP development or related areas.

• Knowledge on OOABAP

• Familiarity with SAP HANA development and optimization techniques.

• Knowledge of SAP Fiori development.

• Understanding of SAP NetWeaver Gateway, OData, and SAPUI5.

• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and development methodologies (e.g., Agile).
