The work you'll be doing will support mission and business-critical applications within Verizon. You will be enhancing the customer experience and building world class solutions. Under the mentorship of senior applications staff, you will work as a team member on various projects to develop, implement and maintain this important application.
As a Scrum Team member (Development Team), your primary responsibility is to successfully develop, test, and deliver the product increment every Sprint while ensuring self-sufficiency and cross-functional collaboration. The accountability for developing Increments rests with the Development Team as a whole, but the entire Scrum Team is responsible for the overall delivery.
Develop highly efficient and reliable applications using front-end and backend technologies with a focus on security.
Design and deliver full-stack web applications, ensuring code integrity and meeting security requirements.
Propose new ideas and take ownership of implementing new features, evolving from a Minimal Viable Product to a Minimal Releasable Product.
Execute the full software development life cycle (SDLC), including concept, design, build, deploy, test, release, and support.
Ensure that the application development sprint cycle is on track and adjust the plan to meet release timelines.
Act independently while demonstrating excellent collaboration within and between various teams.
Understand the domain knowledge and adapt to an agile environment.
Build reusable code and libraries for future use in front-end and backend technologies.

You'll need to have:
Bachelor's Degree or two or more years of experience.
Experience in designing, developing, testing and releasing high-quality software products.
Full stack developer with knowledge of all stages of software development.
Experience, interest, and adaptability to working in an Agile delivery environment.
Hands-on experience with CORE JAVA, JAVASCRIPT, NodeJs, React JS, NextJs, NestJs, Spring Boot and SQL.
Solid experience working with HTML5, CSS3, SASS, and LESS.
Experience with RESTful web services.
Development of APIs and micro services.
Experience with writing client-side JavaScript using at least one industry standard framework such as Angular or React.
Passion and proven track record for creating robust, scalable applications.
Experience working with databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, and NoSQL.
Prior hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and services such as DynamoDB, Lambda, S3, etc.
Collaboration with high-performing teams, improving delivery capabilities.
Working with AWS-based services, code repositories such as Github, and continuous delivery toolchain (automating end-to-end application deployment using CI/CD pipeline).
Experience working with or an interest in Agile Methodologies, such as Extreme Programming (XP) and Scrum.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Expertise in Test-Driven Development (TDD), emphasizing quality, security, and automating regression testing.
Experience working with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, and others, automating full-stack builds and deployments.
Proficient in developing automated unit tests as an integral part of the software development process (TTD - Unit Test Automation).
Experience in deployments and developments within the public cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS, including EC2, RDS, and DynamoDB.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Ability to comprehend app server implications during the delivery stage.
