You'll be managing and supporting enterprise customers for their business-critical services. You will be responsible for a wide range of activities surrounding the ongoing maintenance and expert level support of Verizon Managed Services customer networks, primarily Incident and Change Management. These activities will include the troubleshooting and resolution of highly complex network issues, complex change management, working with vendors and internal organizations (IT NOC, Engineering, PMO, etc.) on product wide issues as well as product readiness projects.
• Interacting with customers on high visibility and complex technical issues.
• Supporting a complex mix of technologies that create the Verizon Managed Services product offerings including Managed WAN (MWAN), Managed LAN (MLAN).
• Managing Wireless LAN (MWLAN - Aruba and Cisco WLCs and APs), etc.
• Providing expert level support for all underlying Verizon network access and fulfillment function for MNS Standard Change Management requests.
• Providing customer configuration which includes Cisco 7600, ASR9K, ESR, GSR IOS & IOS-XR devices, and Juniper M320 and MX960 devices.

You'll need to have:
• Bachelor’s degree or one or more years of work experience.
• Knowledge of BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, and RIP routing protocols, redistribution, and high availability protocols such as HSRP, GLBP, VRRP, MBGP, VRFs, VRF-Lite, and MPLS VPNs.
• Experience providing support for AOS, IOS, IOS-XR, Extreme OS and JUNOS products. Support includes code upgrades, compliance fix like (SNMP, Line VTY, NTP, LineVTY)
• Strong Knowledge of QOS, MQOS, queuing techniques, policing, shaping, marking etc. on Cisco and Juniper platforms.
• Mandatory CCNA or CCNP certification along with optional Aruba, Juniper Certification or Extreme OS
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
• Experience supporting IPVPN, DMVPN, EZVPN, and GETVPN designs.
• Strong Knowledge of supporting Cisco routers and switches configuration, implementation, Moderate to basic knowledge on Aruba WLAN Controllers and Access Points. Moderate knowledge on Juniper Junos Routers and switches MX Series
• Experience supporting Cisco and Riverbed WAN Optimization.
• Experience with resolution centric diagnostic approach.
• Strong hands on with Routing and Switching and Ability to quickly identify and isolate the root cause of the issues in minimal time.
• Experience with Advanced network troubleshooting skills utilizing Wireshark packet capture/analysis.
