Job Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is looking for an Enterprise Network Manager to join their team on a primarily remote basis, with limited on-site requirements in Chantilly, VA. The responsibilities of the Enterprise Network Manager include guiding a team of network engineers and support staff to oversee and sustain the organization's technological resources. This role involves assessing and selecting hybrid cloud solutions, encompassing both public cloud services and private data centers, to meet our network, application, security, and operational needs.

Responsibilities of the Enterprise Network Manager:

•      Oversee the setup, configuration, and upkeep of intricate cloud and physical network environments.

•      Plan, document, and schedule network infrastructure upgrades and changes.

•      Create and execute plans for transitioning legacy on-premises networks and servers to cloud solutions.

•      Maintain a comprehensive understanding of network security, IP routing, VPN, and other relevant network technologies

•      Work with external vendors and service providers to procure hardware, software, and IT services.

•      Implement and monitor IT security measures to protect the organization’s data and systems from cyber threats.

•      Manage IT projects, ensuring timely completion within budget and meeting requirements

•      Monitor the performance of IT systems and operations, implementing improvements as needed.

Qualifications of the Enterprise Network Manager:

•      10+ years of experience in IT Management

•      Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Network Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

•      Advanced expertise in network infrastructure, including firewalls, load balancing, intrusion detection systems, antivirus software, and SIEM tools.

•      Experience in supporting various solutions and different types of cloud and on-premises networks.

•      Proficiency with cloud-based identity and access management solutions such as Microsoft Entra and Azure AD.

•      Experience with virtualization technologies like VMware.

•      Familiarity with network management tools such as SolarWinds.

•      Strong operational knowledge in managing Windows-based servers and workstation computing solutions.

Compensation for the Enterprise Network Manager:

•      Salary Range: $130,000-$150,000/year **depending on experience**
