We are looking for an Enterprise Sales Leader with a consistent record of success in leading and developing teams to secure complex, end-to-end technology solutions with globally recognized brands. Based in either Sydney or Melbourne, Australia, this role offers you an opportunity to develop your talents while building strong partnerships with global companies.

In this key strategic leadership role, you will lead teams to win complex end-to-end technology solutions for the Australian Enterprise Business, aligning with Verizon Asia Pacific and corporate objectives. Responsibilities include establishing sales strategies for all existing and new accounts to identify new revenue streams and sales opportunities. You will also provide strong leadership to the Australian Sales and Technical Consultancy teams, focusing on higher value, margin deals with larger contract values and building long-term relationships.

The successful candidate will also serve as the \'Face of Verizon\' in enterprise-related sectors, interacting with the media and building stronger relationships with industry leaders, customers, and partners.

Functional responsibilities: 

  • Leading, developing, and motivating a sales team to achieve strong results. 

  • Setting goals, forecasting, and analyzing results to optimize sales and sustained business growth.

  • Coaching team members on articulating the business value of our solutions.

  • Cultivating deep business relationships with executives in client organizations.

  • Ensuring the team’s ongoing skill building through training and targeted assignments.

  • Assisting in the consultative selling sales process, ensuring customer needs are understood and met, advising on the best solutions, and helping to negotiate and close the deal.

  • Providing creative and effective solutions to solve complex problems.

  • Understanding top opportunities to predict closure dates, makes exhaustive use of sales support tools for reporting and coaches the team to achieve accurate forecasting.

You have the business acumen and executive presence to establish credibility with the c-suite, and you’re energized by the prospect of developing the next generation of sales leaders---while landing the next big account. When you negotiate, you effectively balance the customer's needs with your needs to result in a win for everyone.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Eight or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Eight or more years leading and inspiring a team to high performance. 

  • Ability to coach and motivate members of the teams.

  • Excellent management and leadership skills, execution and capabilities.

  • Strong connections and relationship with Australian and Global Enterprise customers and Senior Executives.

  • Experience in consulting with CXO level executives within the customer base.

  • Extensive experience in managing complex, end-to-end technology solution deals, especially for Managed Services, encompassing Network, Security, and Cloud.

  • Willingness to travel.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • A Master’s degree.

  • Staff management experience with the ability to drive strategy and provide direction to team members.

  • Ability to ensure that the structure of the sales team is correctly positioned to meet the sales objectives.

  • Knowledge and execution of Sales Management including forecasting, gap/fit analysis, KPI creation, strategic account planning, etc.
