What you’ll be doing…

The Device Technology organization within Verizon's Technology and Product Development team is seeking an Executive Assistant to support the Vice President full time and in addition providing related support to the team's leadership team that consists of five Senior Directors.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Providing high-level administrative support and organizational tasks to keep day-to-day operations running smoothly for the executive and his direct team.

  • Coordinating complex calendars, including scheduling and arranging meetings - while maintaining sensitivity to changing priorities.

  • In some cases, coordinating on-site multi-day meetings which include catering, greeting guests and external partner teams, etc.

  • Planning travel including extensive support of international travel for executives and their teams, managing expenses, and overseeing/ensuring safe arrival/transport to and from various international locations.

  • Creating, processing, inspecting, and validating team travel & expenses - ensuring compliance with travel policies.

  • Managing sensitive matters with a high level of confidentiality and discretion.

  • Acting as a representative and ambassador to external partners.

  • Performing ad hoc project-related duties as requested.

  • Find new ways to increase office efficiency and innovative ways to support the team.



What we're looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or one or more years of work experience.

  • Willingness to work a hybrid schedule as set by your manager based out of a hub location.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Project management experience in the areas of strategic thinking, managing competing priorities, and a proactive mindset.

  • Executive support experience.

  • Proficiency in Google’s G-Suite (e.g., Docs, Sheets) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).

  • Experience with facilitation and communication across all levels of the organization.

  • Proficiency in verbal and written communication.

  • Experience collaborating with internal and external partners.

  • Experience building relationships with large complex teams in a high-performance environment.

  • Five or more years of administrative experience.

  • Experience with budget management and/or travel logistics, event planning.

  • Experience working well independently and under pressure.

Where you’ll be working

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.
