India CSR Senior Analyst/Analyst

Job Summary And Responsibilities

This will be an India-focused role and the hire will be responsible for supporting the OCE India team in coordinating all Goldman Sachs CSR programs in India, including but not limited to 10,000 Women.

India CSR Program Support

  • Support with India CSR program development, oversight and delivery 
  • Support with the development of India CSR granting strategy
  • Co-ordinate internal legal, compliance and financial checks of potential CSR grantee organizations
  • Oversee registration process for new CSR partner organizations
  • Support the CSR Committees of Goldman Sachs entity boards, including preparing board materials, drafting minutes, and co-ordinating queries
  • Work closely with finance team to manage payment of grantees, and confirm receipt
  • Track impact measures from existing grantees for use in internal/external communications
  • Request and track mid-term and final reports from NGOs
  • Engage non-profit organizations and answer queries on GS CSR granting process

 

Skills And Experience

  • 2-5 years of relevant work experience plus Bachelor’s degree
  • Knowledge and understanding of India Companies Act, 2013 and CSR Rules desirable
  • Proven project management skills, with excellent organizational and analytical skills, and complete attention to detail
  • Highest degree of integrity, professionalism, diplomacy and discretion
  • Keen problem solver with exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong and effective team player, working closely with colleagues in different time zones and from different teams
  • Experience in working across global stakeholders
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills
