General Summary:
Job Overview:
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide timely and accurate answer to customer inquiries under the guidance of experienced peers
- Help customer for device performance tuning and Software optimization
- Assists in publishing (e.g., writing, reviewing, and editing) product technical documentation
- Demonstrates Qualcomm products and offerings to customers as instructed by tech leads
- Provide support to our customers/distributors with the design, development and debug Qualcomm software related issues. Work closely with external customers and internal teams for problem-resolving.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
3+ years Software development experience in wireless, telecommunications, semiconductor industry or Android device Performance tuning.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in C/C++/Java programming or mobile platform performance tuning/optimization.
Strong experience in Android Performance tuning
Experience in mobile Game performance tuning or Camera performance tuning is a plus
Strong verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills
Ability to quickly learn new technologies and work on resolving customer reported technical problems during mobile or wireless communication product development cycles.
Excellent analytical, problem solving and Communication skills and willingness to work with customers
Education Requirements:
- Required: Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Preferred: Master's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science or related field.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.All Qualcomm employees are expected to actively support diversity on their teams, and in the Company.
