Within Global Marketing sits the Global Banking & Markets Marketing team, responsible for end-to-end marketing strategies and programs for the entirety of the division. Working across our classic IB activities of M&A advisory and financing as well as Markets, the team leads integrated marketing strategies across messaging, brand, content, social, paid media, client engagement, digital marketing, and marketing analytics. 

Role Summary

The GBM Marketing team is looking for a strong, independent MarTech Associate that will be responsible for email platform management, website analytics, and ad/MarTech. The ideal candidate will have experience implementing and managing modern marketing technologies to drive business growth. They will develop and lead the GBM MarTech strategy and align with functional partners. The role requires managing external partner relationships and collaborating closely with GBM business marketers and engineers. Strong problem solving, project management, and communication skills are essential, along with a passion for marketing technology and a desire to learn and grow in the field.

Position Responsibilities

  • Lead MarTech Strategy: Spearhead GBM MarTech strategy, develop annual roadmaps, and ensure alignment with Executive Office (EO) and Engineering on vision and implementation. Collaborate with GBM business marketers and engineers to craft targeted MarTech strategies.
  • External Partner Management: Manage and own relationships with MarTech partners for GBM, leading Statements of Work (SOW) in partnership with relevant stakeholders.
  • Website Analytics: Oversee Adobe Analytics, including dashboard creation, URL taxonomy, quality assurance, and troubleshooting. Formulate and implement tagging strategies in collaboration with media agencies and EO.
  • Email Platform Management: Direct email platform strategy as a product owner, establishing annual product roadmaps and leading technology-related initiatives. Coordinate with IB marketing and engineering and facilitate the setup of email platforms and campaigns.
  • Marketing Automation: Supervise the setup and ongoing maintenance of MarTech platforms, working with GBM marketers to implement effective marketing automation strategies.
  • CRM Management: Coordinate Salesforce-related projects with Engineering, manage CRM integrations with other MarTech platforms, and oversee data segmentation and extraction.
  • AdTech Management: Handle ad operations relationships with media agencies, oversee ad tagging structures, and lead the creation and implementation of ad tags. Integrate ad platform APIs with MarTech systems.
  • Audience and Data Strategy: Establish and guide data strategies in partnership with Engineering and EO, manage first-party data segmentation and activation, and maintain data lakes and databases. Oversee the strategy and upkeep of Tableau dashboards.

Qualifications

  • Email Platforms Expertise: Proven ability to manage and maintain critical email platforms and technologies, including Pinpoint, AWS, and Adobe Campaign, with a mandatory requirement for proficiency in Adobe Campaign.
  • Marketing Automation Proficiency: Demonstrated experience in implementing and overseeing marketing automation platforms, specifically Adobe or Marketo, as essential qualifications. Adobe preferred.
  • CRM/Salesforce Management: Extensive experience with Salesforce, including adeptness in management and seamless integrations, required.
  • Advanced Website Analytics: Expertise in managing Adobe Analytics is crucial, encompassing setup, tagging structures, dashboard creation, and comprehensive reporting.
  • AdTech and DV360 Skills: Proficiency in managing DV360, including tag taxonomy, creation, and implementation, along with familiarity with major advertising platforms such as Google and LinkedIn.
  • Database and Data Management: Strong background in database management and SQL, with practical experience in using Snowflake and proficiency in managing dashboard platforms like Tableau.
  • Project Management Excellence: Strong project management skills, evidenced by successful establishment and oversight of projects, processes, and communications.
  • Communication Proficiency: Excellent written and oral communication skills, with confidence in engaging with senior leaders and external stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented approach with impeccable attention to detail in written communications and problem-solving abilities.
  • Adaptive Learning and Networking: Fast learner with the capability to leverage networks effectively, manage multiple, time-sensitive projects under pressure, and drive results.
  • Team Collaboration and Finance Interest: Team-oriented with a robust interest in finance and markets, demonstrating the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Marketing Technology Enthusiasm: A strong passion for marketing technology with a keen desire to learn and grow within the field.
  • Independent Execution: Ability to execute effectively with minimal supervision, employing sound judgment and critical thinking.
  • Educational Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) in a relevant field.
  • Experience Requirement: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience managing ad tech.

Salary Range 

The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $100000-$160000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
