Prime Services provides securities financing, securities lending, futures and OTC swap clearing along with other services (capital introduction, consulting, securities clearance and settlement, asset servicing reporting and technology, risk management tools) to the firm's hedge fund, institutional and broker dealer clients across multiple asset classes (equity, options, credit, FX, futures, OTC clearing and synthetics).

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

The Capital Introduction team is involved in every stage of the hedge fund lifecycle, working with both start-ups and established funds. We are specifically responsible for consulting Asia based hedge fund clients on their market positioning and overall fund raising strategy. As a senior member of the team, you will be expected to pitch for new hedge fund clients along with the PB Sales team, and manage client relationships to win market share for the business.

In addition to hedge fund managers, the team has the unique responsibility of managing relationships regionally with hedge fund investors including pensions, foundations, endowments, family offices, sovereign wealth funds and fund of funds. These formative relationships allow us to introduce our hedge fund clients to differentiated pools of capital throughout their fund raising process. Given the depth of these investor relationships, the team is viewed as a leading source for the most current trends and themes impacting the hedge fund industry.

  • Pitch and win new PB hedge fund clients
  • Deepen your manager relationships with our Asia client base in order to win more market share with our clients
  • Coordinate with the capital introduction team globally to optimize capital raising for our clients
  • Provide ongoing referrals, execute roadshows and organize capital raising events through Asia for both global and Asia focused hedge fund clientele
  • Prospect for new allocators and work with current allocators to understand their hedge fund allocation needs and ultimately become the first port of call for hedge fund introductions and market colour

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification with an excellent academic record
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in prime services, hedge fund marketing, hedge fund sales, investment banking and alternative products 
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Thorough and able to work autonomously
  • Understanding  of the hedge fund industry
  • Team player
  • A solid work ethic and a high level of motivation
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong willingness to learn
  • Strong English language skills required, Korean/Mandarin/Cantonese language skills a plus
