We make markets in and clear client transactions on major stock, options, and futures exchanges worldwide. Through our global sales force, we maintain relationships with our clients, receiving orders and distributing investment research, trading ideas, market information and analysis.

Operations is a dynamic, multi-faceted function that partners with all parts of the firm to provide banking, securities, and asset management services to clients around the world. In addition, Operations provides essential risk management and controls to preserve and enhance the firm's assets and its reputation. For every new product launched and every trade executed, it is Operations that develops and manages the processes and controls that enable business flow. 

YOUR IMPACT 

The Loan Validations & Reporting team is seeking a motivated professional to support timely and accurate loans data reporting for various regulatory reports, manage validations, resolve exceptions, and support audit requests. We seek team orientated candidates who can demonstrate excellent analytical skills with the ability to manage competing tasks and prioritize risk accordingly in a fast paced and demanding environment. Team members are expected to be able to consistently deliver on day-to-day execution as well as contribute to strategic organizational goals.

In addition, IB Operations provide essential risk management and control to preserve and enhance the firm’s assets and its reputation. For every trade agreed, every new product launched, every new market entered, or every transaction completed, it is Operations that develops necessary processes and controls to make business flow. 

IB Loan Operations is a high-value support and risk management team focused on reference data maintenance, loan lifecycle event processing and regulatory reporting.

JOB SUMMARY AND RESPONSBILITIES 

  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the bank loan business, understanding loan structures and associated reporting obligations for Operations
  • Enhance your knowledge and establish expertise in Regulatory data reporting and Audit data submissions
  • Develop your analytical skills working on large sets of reportable data and resolving exceptions
  • Cultivate problem solving skills by continuous gap assessment & remediation to mitigate the risk of inaccurate data
  • Build your communication skills through daily interactions 
  • Showcase your ability to function as a team player in a highly collaborative environment while working closely with internal and external stakeholders such as Business Groups, Reporting Controllers, Risk, Technology and Operations Leadership. 
  • Collaborate with global team counterparts in Dallas on initiatives supporting the loans reporting model
  • Deliver day-to-day issue resolution through effective time management, prioritization, and multi-tasking
  • Support MIS reporting, including key risk indicators, trends and milestones of the team

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a finance related field preferred
  • Minimum experience of 1 year in Loan Operations & total experience of 1 - 4 years
  • Proven analytical skills, problem solving ability, and a control mentality paired with meticulous attention to detail
  • Aptitude for building relationships and ability to communicate complex issues to a wide array of internal clients with differing levels of product experience
  • Self-motivated and proactive team player, who takes ownership and accountability of projects, has strong organizational skills as well as the ability to effectively manage competing priorities
  • Flexible and able to work well under pressure in a team environment

 PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Financial or quantitative educational background
  • Understanding of Loan Operations & Regulatory reporting experience and/or experience in handling audits
