Job Description

Job Duties: Associate, Client Services – Prime with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Salt Lake City, Utah. Service the firm’s Prime Clearing clients, which leverage Goldman Sachs to execute their strategies, manage their trading positions, and serve as a strategic partner. Relationship management responsibilities including regular client calls and occasional client visits. Act as a primary point of contact on client inquiries and liaise with Operations, Legal, Compliance, Sales and Engineering to answer client questions. Understand and work with clients on their reporting and technology requirements. Provide additional Risk and Margin oversight of clients. Ensure new launches and business transitions go efficiently.

Job Requirements: Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Economics, Finance, Quantitative Finance, or related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or in a related role OR Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Economics, Finance, Quantitative Finance, or related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include one (1) year of experience (with a Master’s degree) OR three (3) years of experience (with a Bachelor’s degree) with: trade lifecycle including Pre-Trade, Trade Execution, Trade Clearing, Trade Settlement, and the final stage of Position and Risk Management; root cause analysis including cross-referencing quantitative and qualitative data to resolve problems; advanced Microsoft Excel including Macros, formulas, Pivot Table, and VLOOKUP.
