Job Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a Hybrid Cyber Security Engineer who will support a government contract located in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities for the Hybrid Cyber Security Engineer:

•        Develops and executes information security plans and policies

•        Develop strategies and procedures to respond to, recover, and investigate security breach(es)

•        Develop or implement open source/third-party tools to assist in detection, prevention and analysis of security threats

•        Installs, configures, and updates firewalls, data encryption, and other security products to facilitate a secure posture

•        Conduct periodic network scans to identify and remediate vulnerabilities

•         Monitor networks and systems for security breaches using software that detects intrusions and anomalous system behavior

•         Penetration testing experience (burp suite)

•        Threat hunting experience (threat intelligence analysis), UBA

Qualifications for Hybrid Cyber Security Engineer:

•        2 – 5 years of experience

•        Created Firewalls (Palo Alto)

•        Expirence in Splunk Engineer

•        Able to Obtain a public trust

Compensation for the Hybrid Cyber Security Engineer:

• $100,000 – $115,000 *Depending on Experience.
