Job Description:

The Opportunity:

CACI International Inc. has an immediate opening for a Information Assurance Specialist located in Alexandria, VA. This a Hybrid position.

Provide expertise to conduct threat and risk assessments of platforms and infrastructure identified by DoD CIO for security controls therein to determine the overall effectiveness of controls and the vulnerability state of components, applications, and databases residing within the system boundary.

Responsibilities:

Provide proficiency in security planning, assessment, risk analysis, and risk management across all customer domains as specified by the contract and consistent with negotiated service level agreements (SLA).

Review certification to ensure that the system will operate with an acceptable level of risk and that it will comply with the departmental and system security policies and standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree with 14 years of experience or Master’s degree in field related to tasking, and 12 years general experience.
  • Identifies network, system, applications, and new technology initiatives' security risks, threats, and vulnerabilities.
  • Develops, tests, and operates firewalls, intrusion detection systems, enterprise anti-virus systems, and software deployment tools.
  • Tests and debugs program and scripts and prepares instruction for use during network exploitation activities.
  • Applies knowledge of current Information Assurance (IA) policy, tactics, techniques, policy, and doctrine and relationship to IA reporting requirements and structure.
  • Assists in the planning and implementation of requirements. Establishes and satisfies complex system-wide information security requirements based upon the analysis of user, policy, regulatory, and resource demands. Supports the development and implementation of IA doctrine and policies.
  • Applies expertise to government and commercial common user systems and dedicated special purpose systems requiring specialized security features and procedures.
  • Must have Active DOD Secret Clearance.

Experience with DOD CIO a plus.

$94,400 - $198,300
