Job Description:

The Opportunity:

CACI is looking for an intern to support information technology related tasks on the ITEMSS Program in Ashburn, VA.  They will have the opportunity to work as an integral part of a team of highly productive technical professionals who thrive on supporting our customer's mission and growth objectives across various areas of IT.  The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills and aptitude.

Responsibilities:

  • Acts as a member of a product team, supporting teammates.
  • Active participation in planning activities, artifact creation, testing, and demonstrations
  • Analyzing project-related problems and creating innovative solutions involving, scheduling, technology, methodology, tools and solution components.
  • Ensuring product quality and timeliness of work, providing advice and guidance, resolving problems to meet objectives, and providing periodic performance reports.

Qualifications:

Required: 

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen, with or eligible for a DOD Secret security clearance
  • Currently enrolled full-time and have completed two or more of college level computer science related courses
  • Exceptional collaboration skills
  • Highly responsible, team-oriented individual with very strong communication skills and work ethic; self-starter

Desired:

  • If Undergraduate or Graduate, pursing a degree in Cyber Security or related field is preferred, not required
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred, not required
  • Previous internship/co-op or other work experience, leadership and teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular)
  • Prior experience working in IT
