CACI has an immediate opening for a problem-solver extraordinaire with Linux Systems Administrator and Software Developer experience, and with a Top Secret Clearance (TS/SCI) and polygraph to maintain our worldwide operationally fielded systems primarily from our Sarasota (FL) office.
In this position, the individual will work with emerging technologies in the space domain awareness sector to enable national security missions through creation and delivery of innovative, technology-centric solutions that provide decision advantage to our customers. You will utilize your troubleshooting skills daily ensuring that our vast enterprise with hundreds of servers, custom software, and specialized hardware is running smoothly. You will work individually and within the team to find and solve problems. You will be the frontline problem solver, closely working with the System Administration, Software, DSP, and Systems Engineering teams to ensure issues are resolved and ensure mission success.
Continental US and international travel may be required up to 10% as well as periodic surge support.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Support critical mission systems and infrastructure.
Perform fault-isolation of RF systems hardware and software working with various stakeholders
Debug enterprise applications ranging from modern technologies (Kubernetes clusters running SpringBoot applications) and legacy codebases (Java, C, Fortran)
Requires an ability to effectively communicate and work collaboratively with others in a fast-paced environment while multi-tasking.
Regularly completes assigned tasks that have a direct impact on mission success and system functionality.
Support the entire lifecycle of the mission system from design, installation, and operations.
Travel to unique and exciting locations.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Security+, or equivalent IATII certification.
A TS/SCI with Polygraph or the ability obtain a poly.
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related discipline from an accredited college or university with two years of related experience. 7 years experience in related fields is required in lieu of education requirements.
Possess an understanding of comprehensive Linux system administration principles, and problem-solving skills.
One year minimum Linux experience with a focus on Red Hat, and experience troubleshooting servers.
Excellent communication skills in technical, business, and client interactions
Experience with virtualization environments (e.g. VMware, Red Hat Virtualization, KVM)
Software development experience in two or more of the following:
Java, with libraries such as SpringBoot, Hibernate, and Camel
Web services, with libraries such as Angular, React and plan JavaScript/HTML/CSS
Experience with Software Testing (e.g., Junit, Automated Test Tools, etc.)
Experience with Linux shell scripting and build tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle, etc.)
Experience with Java Security and Cryptology (PKI Certificates)
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Competence in MS Office suite including Visio.
Experience with Ticket tracking tools (e.g. Jira)
Experience with Scripting languages (e.g. Python, Perl, Bash, etc.)
Experience with DevSecOps and respective tools
Experience with network switch hardware, VLANs, and basic troubleshooting (e.g. Cisco IOS)
Experience with containerization with Kubernetes and Podman background preferred
Automation tools (e.g. Ansible, Puppet, Git CI)
Experience with Integrated Product Teams
Familiarity with Gitlab and CI/CD Pipelines
Experience with software configuration management processes and tools
Knowledge of Intelligence Community (IC) processes, policies, and guidance
