Job Description:

The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a collaborative and creative mid-level Multimedia Instructional Designer to work with a team of Instructional Designers, 3D Animators, and Subject Matter Experts in creating training content for Aviation ratings under the Navy Sailor 2025 Ready Relevant Learning (RRL) program. You’ll create Lesson Plans, Training Guides, assessment questions, and Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI) based on storyboards.

Responsibilities:

  • Review Government Furnished Information.
  • Support meetings with Subject Matter Experts and Media Developers.
  • Research and gather missing content.
  • Leverage sound instructional design practices, adult learning theories, and performance improvement processes using the ADDIE Instructional Design Model.
  • Review training content to ensure accuracy.
  • Create Lesson Plans and Training Guides.
  • Develop storyboards and courseware using Adobe Captivate.

Qualifications:

Required: 

  • BA/BS or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of related work experience.
  • Prior experience developing e-learning content for DoD programs.
  • Experience working with media and designing screen layouts.
  • Experience using Adobe Captivate (or similar tool like Articulate Storyline) to create e-learning content.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of professionals.
  • Knowledge of NAVEDTRA 130 series, NAVEDTRA 132 series, and NAVEDTRA 136
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in team environments.
  • Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Active Secret security clearance.

Desired:

  • Prior experience working on Sailor 2025 RRL Projects.
  • Knowledge of the Navy ‘s Practical Applications of Learning Science (PALS).

$52,300-$107,200
