General Summary:

Job Description:

The LatAm BI Intern will be responsible for handling the Latin America Compute Market Data, turning data into Business Analysis by managing spreadsheets, analyzing market trends, monitoring sales demand controls, and other KPIs. As a result, the Latin America Business Intelligence Intern will help to provide strategic direction to the business through data-driven insights and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed spreadsheets to track data and sales metrics.
• Analyze sales data to identify market trends and provide actionable insights to the sales team.
• Monitor and control sales demand, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and presentations.
• Collaborate with various departments, vendors and sales partners to gather and validate data.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and reporting.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Statistics, Economics, Engineering or a related field.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheet software.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic understanding of financial principles and concepts.

Educational Requirements:

• Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Business Administration, Finance, Statistics, Economics, Engineering or a closely related field.
• Courses in data analysis, financial accounting, and statistics are highly desirable.
• Participation in relevant internships or work experiences is a plus.

Preferred Skills and Attributes:

• Strong communication skills and the ability to present data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking ability.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Knowledge of statistical software.
• Experience with SQL or other database management systems.
