General Summary:
Job Description
The Intern will be responsible for handling spreadsheets, managing, and analyzing numbers, monitoring sales demand controls, and other KPIs, helping provide strategic direction to the business through data-driven insights and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain detailed spreadsheets to track data and sales metrics.
Analyze numerical data and trends to provide actionable insights.
Monitor and control sales demand, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports and presentations.
Collaborate with various departments to gather and validate data.
Support the finance team in budget planning and forecasting activities.
Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and reporting.
Minimum Qualifications
Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Statistics, Economics, Engineering or a related field.
Strong analytical and numerical skills.
Proficiency in Power Point, Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheet software.
Attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic understanding of financial principles and concepts.
Educational Requirements
Enrollment in a Bachelor's or master's program in Finance, Statistics, Economics, Engineering or a closely related field.
Courses in data analysis, financial accounting, and statistics are highly desirable.
Participation in relevant internships or work experiences is a plus.
Preferred Skills and Attributes
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Knowledge of statistical software (e.g., SPSS, R, MATLAB).
Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking ability.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
