Job Description

To gain valuable insight into Navy Federal’s business, technology, resources and procedures by providing support in focused areas, applying knowledge and education. Participate in a collaborative, team driven network and interact with multiple departments. Receive guidance and direction from team and management. Utilize and further develop technical and soft skills, business knowledge, analytical techniques and creative problem-solving abilities. Provide professional execution of day-to-day tasks and special projects while working within established standards, policies and procedures. This is a Year-Round, full or part–time, flexible internship based on school schedule.

Overview of Real Estate Lending Projects & Portfolio Management Opportunity – Gain insight into all aspects of life-cycle projects from inception through implementation. Assist with project deliverables, and delivery of solutions on schedule and within budget in support of service innovations and organizational and process changes/enhancements.

Qualifications
  • Must be pursuing a degree from an accredited college/university
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in presenting findings and conclusions clearly and concisely to stakeholders and management
  • Experience in managing multiple priorities independently and/or in a team environment 
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, SharePoint applications.
  • Experience with instructional design.
Responsibilities
  • Provide support to assigned department; may work on small projects or portions of larger projects
  • Support business strategy and initiatives within the business unit and/or across the organization
  • Assist and collaborate with various levels of staff to accomplish tasks/assignments
  • Maintain professionalism in all interactions, placing member service as priority
  • Provide comprehensive day-to-day operational support
  • Provide support in functional areas of the credit union
  • May provide direct member service in high volume situations
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Prepare reports and presentations for leadership, managers, and stakeholders 
  • Manage and direct change management components of internal projects through the planning, analysis, design, implementation and transition phases 
  • Ensure assigned project deliverables are met in accordance with leadership expectations
  • Identifies, escalates and/or resolves issues associated with assigned project(s) ensuring deliverables conform to established quality and schedules
  • Works with senior project managers to manage, execute, and communicate project plan, changes, direction, approach, and priorities based on changing business requirements, circumstances, new information and/or budget considerations to stakeholders
