About this Role

At Brink Constructors, Inc. the IT Professional 1 provides exceptional customer service to end users.  This position will use troubleshooting techniques for various computer and software related issues. This position will occasionally require travel and setup of new remote offices alone or with the IT Professional 2. You will also assist in maintaining and repairing our 2-way radios. The IT Professional 1 will communicate issues and solutions to the IT Manager and provide timely assistance to all employees.

What You'll Do

  • Provide end-user support for pc and mobile devices (In-person, remote support session, Teams call, etc.)
  • Perform mobile device upgrade or laptop upgrade
  • Image new or refreshed workstations using SCCM
  • Assist with new employee creation process and onboarding
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and able to troubleshoot
  • Proficient with Microsoft Windows 10 and able to troubleshoot
  • Provide training to field employees and office employees for new software rollout
  • Provide troubleshooting and support for software related issues
  • Setup jobsite remote office: Including networking, printer, and cell boosters
  • Maintain and aid with jobsite tablets
  • Assist the IT Team with department and company projects as needed
  • Work with IT Pro II or IT Manager on escalated user support issues
  • Provide support to all jobs, office, and shop radio communications needs
  • Travel to jobsite for radio programming of handheld, vehicles, or box radios
  • Perform repairs or facilitate replacement of handheld, vehicles, or box radios
  • Build "special order" box radios utilized by wire crews
  • Coordinate with Senior Project Manager/Superintendents to ensure right equipment is available to the jobs to provide consistent communications
  • Point of contact for programming, testing, and shipping to jobs
  • Various other duties as needed

What You'll Bring

Required:

  • Education & Experience: Associate degree and minimum 2 years experience in IT Help Desk / Desktop Support.
  • Physical Needs: Be able to lift, up to 50 pounds, endure long periods of standing, kneeling, and squatting. Need to be able to deal with wide variations in temperature.
  • Travel Needs: Be able to travel long distances to reach different locations. Need to be available for overnight travel as business warrants.
  • Hours & Conditions: Need to be available for full time hours, which can vary from day to day. Average hours will range from 40-50 hours per week. Possible early starting 4:00AM - 5:00AM, with ending time varying daily.

Pre-screen: Upon offer, employees will be required to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen, background, and/or MVR check. 

What You'll Get

This is a salary/exempt position. Pay range is $45,000 - $65,000 depending on experience.
