CACI has an exciting and immediate opportunity for an IT Project Manager to support the USAF Network Operations Security Center (NOSC). This position works at the customer on-site Tier 3 support location at Shaw Air Force Base in South Carolina.
Shaw AFB is conveniently located. A 2-hour drive to the north gets you to Charlotte, NC, to the east is Myrtle Beach, and Charleston, SC is to the south. You’ll have access to big city excitement, a quiet beach walk or small-town Southern hospitality.

If you like to travel, you’ll get to deploy to OCONUS locations to support operations, projects, and training.
More About the Role
In this role you will:
- Provide project management oversight of information systems and technology projects from inception to completion.
- Develop detailed project plans, identifying resources (i.e., manning, material funding), schedules, and other relevant information required to achieve project objectives.
- Coordinate each new project with the project leads to customize the project plan to meet specific manning, time, and budget resources.
- Track project resources requests, Requests for Quotes (RFQs), Requests for Proposal (RFPs), and Statements of Work (SOWs).
- Manage and assist with coordination of IT contracts with GSA and Local Contracting offices to acquire materials, equipment, and services.
- Maintain a master list of materials/equipment used for each project to preserve standardization of equipment and software.
- Track and maintain enterprise-level licensing inventory for initial project management software purchases, renewals, and upgrades.
- Install, configure, administer, use, and maintain Microsoft Project Server and other web pages to provide access to project status and supporting data, information, and documentation.
- Provide detailed professional reports and oral and written briefs/presentations to assist Government senior leaders with strategic planning and decision-making.
- Capture project data and make it available via the web to all end users and authorized local agencies.
- Maintain a file plan and records to archive project-related data for future reference IAW Air Force and local directives.
- Coordinate project tasks and support activities (e.g., personnel deployments, and project material/equipment acquisition, staging, shipping, and preparation) with internal and external agencies.
- Train NOSC personnel on the use of Microsoft Project and other project management and planning tools.
- Track and provide metrics on the effectiveness of the project plans, resources utilized and project execution; and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Manage/coordinate the acquisition of required project resources (documentation, licensing, hardware, software, and other materials).
- Document projects in web format and in archive format.
You will also be required to:
- Serve as senior manager/consultant and provide overall management, direction and control of project management resources and activities.
- Support tactical and strategic planning associated with delivery of services and capabilities.
- Research, evaluate and provide information regarding emerging military and commercial enterprise IT/Cybersecurity technologies, and provide recommended strategies.
- Develop update, maintain, and review detailed or complex technical documents such as techniques, tactics, and procedures (TTPs), concepts of operations (CONOPS), special instructions and engineering plans, for supported enterprise IT and cybersecurity technology, services, applications, and processes.
- Host and/or participate in technical meetings as necessary.
- Develop and provide meeting agendas and minutes.
- Provide continuity and on-the job training to contractor and government technical support personnel (CONUS and OCONUS)
You will also be required to:
- Deploy/travel to OCONUS locations in the USCENTCOM AOR to support operations, projects, and training as required (up to 25%).
- Travel to CONUS locations as required.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications
- Associates in related field and 3 or more years’ relevant experience; or 5 or more years’ relevant experience.
- Ability to obtain an Interim Secret clearance prior to start date.
- CAPM or equivalent certification
- MS Project Server experience.
- DoD 8570 IAT II Baseline Certification (Security+ CE or equivalent).
- Completion of additional Professional Certifications.
- ITIL Foundation within 60 days of start date
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have
- Experience working in DoD, Air Force, and local base environments.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$67,100 - $141,000
