Position Specific Description

The IT Technology Manager will be responsible for leading and managing full stack development projects, integrating IoT elements to support the company's digital platforms. This role involves liaising with business stakeholders, architecting solutions, and overseeing development through an effective offshore-onshore model.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full Stack Development Leadership: Manage the design, development, and maintenance of full stack applications using technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, .NET, React JS, Angular, and NodeJS, AWS.
  • IoT Integration: Oversee the implementation of IoT solutions as part of full stack development projects to enhance energy management and customer engagement initiatives.
  • Cloud Services: Utilize cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) to deploy and manage applications, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • System Integration: Ensure seamless integration of new applications with existing IT systems using middleware technologies like RabbitMQ, Kafka, and MQTT.
  • Data Management: Manage and analyze data using databases such as Mictosoft SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and DynamoDB.
  • Cybersecurity: Implement security protocols and conduct regular security assessments to protect applications and data from potential threats.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, objectives, and deliverables that align with business goals.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical guidance and training to end-users and IT staff on developed applications.
  • Innovation: Stay current with emerging technologies and trends to recommend and implement innovative solutions.
  • Offshore-Onshore Model Management:
    • Understand and gather business requirements by liaising with business stakeholders.
    • Architect and design solutions based on these requirements.
    • Coordinate with offshore development teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of projects.
    • Maintain strong communication channels between onshore and offshore teams to address issues promptly and effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Certifications: TOGAF, AWS Certified Solution Architect, or similar.

Experience:

  • Over 15 years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, and .NET.
  • Extensive experience with front-end frameworks such as React JS and Angular.
  • More than 6 years in IoT, DevSecOps, and other relevant technologies.
  • Comprehensive background in IT operations, software development, and agile methodologies.
  • Proven experience in managing offshore-onshore models for project delivery.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, .NET, React JS, Angular, PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB.
  • Extensive experience with AWS (EC2, EKS, S3, Lambda, Fargate, ECS, CloudWatch, Cognito) and Azure (VM and Functions).
  • Knowledge of middleware technologies such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, and MQTT.
  • Strong database management skills (SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Ansible, and SonarQube.
  • Expertise in cybersecurity protocols and practices.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven project management skills and experience working in agile development environments.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively manage onshore and offshore teams.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Additional certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Solutions Architect, Kubernetics Applications developer (CKAD).
  • Cybersecurity certifications like CISSP or CISM.

  • Ensures high levels of ongoing system and application performance in production environments
  • Oversees development of processes and tools to automate code releases from development to operations (DevOps)
  • Attracts, develops and retains a high-performing and diverse team
  • Establishes and drives technology roadmaps that align with current and future business needs
  • Manages third party technical and outsourcing relationships to deliver project and operational support objectives
  • Ensures technology processes are conducted in line with applicable standards and company policies
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned



Required Qualifications

  • High School Grad / GED
  • Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
  • Experience: 8+ years
  • Supervisor/Management Experience: 2+ years
