We offer merchants an end-to-end payments solution that provides authorization and settlement capabilities, as well as instant access to funds and payouts. We also help merchants connect with their customers, process exchanges and returns, and manage risk. We enable consumers to engage in cross-border shopping and merchants to extend their global reach while reducing the complexity and friction involved in enabling cross-border trade.

What you need to know about the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the PayPal API Platform team. This role will drive the vision, strategy, and execution of our API products, ensuring they meet the needs of developers and businesses worldwide. As a Senior Product Manager, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions, enhance our API offerings, and maintain PayPal's position as a leader in the digital payments industry. Your work will directly impact the growth and success of our API platform, fostering a robust developer ecosystem and enabling seamless integrations for our customers.

Developer Productivity is necessary to improve engineering outcomes and ensure developers' well-being and satisfaction, as productivity and satisfaction are intricately connected. Raising the bar for Developer Productivity also requires engineering within itself; to deliver a best-in-class suite of SDLC tools, leverage AI/ML for groundbreaking automation, and establish industry-accepted standards and processes.

The Developer Platform Engineering (DPE) organization must not only embody PayPal’s Leadership Principles but must carry a passion and ownership for the Developer Experience at PayPal.

The U.S. national annual pay range for this role is

$107300 to $259600

For the majority of employees, PayPal's balanced hybrid work model offers 3 days in the office for effective in-person collaboration and 2 days at your choice of either the PayPal office or your home workspace, ensuring that you equally have the benefits and conveniences of both locations.
