Job Summary
Under general supervision, the Private Client Banking (PCB) Lending Product Specialist uses general lending knowledge and skills obtained through formal education and/or work-related experience to assist with initial inquiries for lending information/assistance regarding our securities backed lending and Mortgage offerings. The Lending Product Specialist will serve as a primary contact for advisors and their support staff inquiring about new securities Based Lines of Credit or Mortgages. The Lending Product Specialist will play a key role in communication between the advisor, branch support staff, and sales teams within Private Client Banking. The Lending Product Specialist will provide high-level information and guidance regarding lending capabilities at Raymond James Bank.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of
Basic principles of banking and finance, including securities backed lending, Mortgage Lending, and pipeline management responsibilities
Understanding of securities as collateral
Securities Based Lending rates and Mortgage lending rates
Skill in
Critical thinking, problem solving and creativity.
Providing a high level of service in the spirit of Raymond James%26rsquo Service 1st commitment.
Organizational skills including a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Effective oral and written communications to convey high level detail on bank lending products and processes.
Operating standard office equipment and using required software applications.

Build strong and productive relationships with Financial Advisors, Banking Consultants, Internal Banking Consultants, Securities Based Lending Consultants, and Mortgage Consultants and other internal partners.

Educational/Previous Experience Requirements
Education/Previous Experience
Associates degree and a minimum of five (5) years of consumer/commercial lending experience.
OR
An equivalent combination of education, training or experience as approved by Human Resources.
