Job Summary

Under limited direction, support the development of enterprise-wide fraud analytics capabilities. The Manager, Fraud Analytics, will assist in the creation, refinement, and continued enhancement of Raymond James Financial fraud detection and data visualization tools. Using knowledge and skills obtained through education and experience, build models, tools and technical solutions covering a comprehensive set of fraud risks. Join a newly created team responsible for designing and implementing enterprise-level fraud solutions with significant business impact to multiple Raymond James subsidiaries. Works with members of the Financial Crimes Management (FCM) team to identify fraud trends, control enhancement opportunities and perform root cause analysis of non-detected activities. Reporting to the Director, Financial Crimes Analytics (FCA), the Manager will regularly interact with Enterprise Fraud Risk Management and Technology teams during the design and testing of new fraud models. Completes assignments with latitude for autonomous actions or decisions. Participates in technical analysis of identified issues, current processes, and procedures and proposed remediations. Regular contact with various departments/branches of Raymond James Financial and C-level executives is required to perform the functions of this job.

Duties and Responsibilities










Job Requirements

Knowledge of

US Fraud risk typologies for financial institutions, key detection and prevention controls, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Python, (Pandas, statsmodel, plotly etc.) SQL, Alteryx, Qlik, Tableau, Domo, PowerBI, Github, Data Build Tool (dbt), Model Op, Snowflake, Azure, AWS, Redshift, Confluence, Azure DevOps.

Financial markets, products, financial advisory function, and investment process.

Advanced AML/FCM client investigations and higher-risk corporate securities reviews concepts, practices, and procedures.

Concepts, principles, and best practices of agile project/program management.

Internal and External fraud investigations and detection programs for Financial Services

Skill in

Preparing and delivering clear, effective, and professional presentations.

Deep technical skills and experience with multiple programming languages, cloud technologies, databases, ETL tools, data visualization tools.

Demonstrating strong communication skills in all aspects of role that influence individuals outside of his or her span of control.

Articulating technical concepts in a way that is widely consumable and understood by non-technologists and senior leaders.

Operating standard office equipment and using required software applications to produce correspondence, reports, electronic communication, spreadsheets, and databases.

Navigating complex and disparate data environments to find and incorporate new data sources into fraud surveillance.

Translating business requirements into code.

Education/Previous Experience

Bachelor%26rsquos degree (B.A.) from a four-year College or university or equivalent experience in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related fields

MBA or master%26rsquos degree with strong academic credentials preferred

Five (5) or more years%26rsquo experience working on technical teams in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance, Cyber Investigations/Fraud, enterprise technology and/or analytics in financial services, banking, asset management, FinTech, or consulting OR ~

Any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training.

Licenses/Certifications

None required.

Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), certifications are a plus but not required.

Travel Required

Yes, up to 10% of the time.
