What you’ll be doing...

As an Intern with Verizon Services Ireland’s Centre of Excellence for Global Sustainability & Supply Chain, you’ll be working with some of the best professionals in the supply chain field. This program introduces interns to the complex nature of the global supply chain at Verizon.

Right from the start you’ll contribute to meaningful projects in the department and will be exposed to a variety of work assignments from different practice areas. Additionally, you will be able to participate in many different kinds of learning experiences. What you learn during this internship will help you grow professionally and personally.

• Interact with the team to identify errors and how they can be corrected

• Leverage Microsoft Excel and/or Python to cleanse data

• Develop documentation for any programs you develop and perform maintenance and support for those programs if needed

You’ll need to have:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems, Technology Management or Business with Computing related field.

• A love and interest in using data

• A curious and inquisitive mind

• A desire to learn new technologies and skills

• A highly motivated self-starter and self- taught individual

• Knowledge of basic data manipulation and analysis concepts using Python and Excel.

Even better if you have:

• Exposure to SAP application suite or related enterprise systems (ERP’s).

• Experience working with AI / ML tools from a data cleansing / data analysis perspective
