Job Description:

The Opportunity:

As a Media/Video Technician for the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment (OUSD (A&S)), you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and support of audiovisual systems. You will collaborate with clients, vendors, and team members to ensure seamless operation and high-quality performance for Unclassified and Secure Audio Visual/Video Teleconferencing (AV/VTC). Additionally, you will be responsible for educating technicians and personnel on the significance of adhering to federal regulations and Department of Defense (DoD) security measures. Responsibilities:

  • Audio Video (AV) technicians responsible for USD (A&S) Executive Conference Room/Facility.

  • Responsible for maintenance, setup, takedown, and occasionally operation of electronic video equipment.

  • Additional duties may be assigned, as required within the context of these duties to support USD (A&S) Senior Leadership Conference Schedules

Qualifications:

Required: 

  • Clearance: Active Top Secret/SCI.

  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience to include, personnel, scheduling, task management, planning, programming, and forecasting, correspondence, security, facilities with Department of Defense.

  • Experience within DoD and other federal agencies.

  • Must be highly proficient in using Video Conference Room Equipment and the Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Must have outstanding English writing skills and the ability to quickly deliver quality written products in constrained time periods.

  • Must have strong active listening skills to assess customer needs and satisfaction.

  • Must have experience in managing customer expectations and working directly with customers.

  • Must have outstanding customer service abilities initiative, judgment, creativity, flexibility, and confidence.

  • Must have the ability to multi-task across multiple projects

Desired: 

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.
