Job Description Summary:

What you need to know about the role:
This role assists in execution of risk lifecycle management activities within Merchant Product including the development of process maps, risk/control identification and evaluation, maintenance of risk and control inventories, and testing of controls.

We are looking for a Merchant Risk Lifecycle Analyst to join our Braintree, Payouts, and RaaS product team who has a risk mindset, is a highly organized go-getter, detail-oriented, enthusiastic to learn payments and motivated to make a positive impact on our business in our ever-changing environment.

Job Description:

Your day-to-day:

In your day-to-day you will:

  • Participate in product/process walk-through’s while leading as appropriate.  
  • Create process maps for the Braintree, Payouts, and RaaS functional areas.  
  • Work individually and collaboratively with the applicable functional areas to identify risks and controls. 
  • Maintain risk and control inventories for the Braintree, Payouts, and RaaS functional areas. 
  • Conduct risk assessments per internal standards.   
  • Conduct periodic control refreshes and validation of risk and control owners. 
  • Input data into the Enterprise Governance, Risk, Compliance (GRC) tool. 
  • Develop control test plans and perform control testing. 
  • Other activities as assigned to support the overall Enterprise Product Risk and Operations team. 

What do you need to bring:

  • Have a working knowledge of risk and control identification, evaluating and determining inherent risk levels, and evaluating and determining control strength and effectiveness. 
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to influence and work across organizational boundaries to drive delivery challenges. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Ability to focus on desired results, determining what is important and urgent along with clarifying next steps to meet deadlines and achieve desired results 
  • Analytical and reasoning skills 
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines 
  • Must display a high level of professionalism, sound judgement, commitment, integrity, teamwork, and customer service 
  • Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with peers and partners 
  • Project management skills. 
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities under competing deadlines. 
  • Ability to learn quickly, manage projects and drive/achieve results.
