The Opportunity:
CACI is looking for a skilled Microsoft Endpoint Management (MEM) Engineer, specializing in Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM, formerly SCCM) to support the Department of the Air Force (DAF) Enterprise IT as a Service (EITaaS) program. The candidate will join a team of engineers responsible for engineering and implementing an enterprise Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) Solution. The UEM solution shall be capable of managing all Windows endpoints.
On the EITaaS program, CACI will deliver enhanced capabilities and services to implement and operate an enterprise ITSM solution, enterprise service desk, endpoint management and security solution, as well as CONUS/OCONUS field support and life cycle support for end user devices to enable the DAF to transition focus from IT operations to mission operations.
In this role, you’ll serve as an experienced MECM engineer assisting with the design and implementation of the MECM solution for the Department of the Air Force (DAF) classified network.
Responsibilities:
- Architect and design scalable solutions to accommodate the evolving needs and growth of the Department of the Air Force.
- Develop and implement industry best practices for both routine and zero-day patch management, ensuring comprehensive documentation is provided to the operations team for seamless sustainment.
- Provide Tier 3 support to operations team for deployment of applications and application updates based on defined criteria.
- Provide Tier 2 support to operations team to remediate issues related to failed patches or applications and conflicts related to patching.
- Create documentation/SOPs for new procedures and manual steps to complete tasks for soft hand-offs and cross-training of support personnel.
- Operate and maintain the overall MECM infrastructure supporting the enterprise, including future third-party plugins/enhancements.
- Track all relevant SLA/SLOs and provide reports as required.
- Collaborate with DAF enterprise and program security teams to ensure requirements are met within allotted timeframes.
- Conduct research and present technologies that can better serve the Department of the Air Force (DAF).
- Communicate effectively and collaboratively with customers, stakeholders, and peers.
Qualifications:
Required:
- An active DoD secret clearance is required
- BA/BS + 5 years (additional 5+ years of recent relevant experience may be substituted for degree, for total of 10+ years of experience)
- DoD 8140 compliance (ex: Security+)
- Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) classified environment.
- Proven experience in the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) and its required components.
- Experience in managing Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) in a multi-forest environment.
- Comprehensive understanding of Active Directory and its seamless integration with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) environments.
- In-depth understanding of Microsoft SQL Server, clustering technologies, and database replication.
- Thorough understanding of Preboot execution environments (PXE) including its interaction with layer 3 devices and DHCP.
- Proven experience in automation using Microsoft PowerShell and other scripting technologies.
- Proven experience in creating comprehensive reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Power BI.
- Proven experience in creating dynamic task sequences to automate the installation and upgrade of operating systems.
- Extensive experience in developing and deploying software packages using MSI, MSIX, EXE, and other scripting technologies.
- A thorough understanding of Microsoft Windows Server and Workstation operating systems.
- Experience in documenting and implementing Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) requirements.
- Familiarity with ITIL v4 (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) framework and practices.
- Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies.
- Proficient in MS Office tools, including Excel, Word, Project, and Visio, as well as SharePoint.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Desired:
- Experience with the Adaptiva Onesite platform including OneSite Anywhere, OneSite Health, and OneSite Patch.
- Experience with the ServiceNow platform and its integration into Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) environments.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$85,800 - $180,200
