Job Description:

CACI is seeking a Modernization Program Analyst to support our government customer located in Washington DC. The selected candidate will be responsible for support of program business and functional operations. Duties include support to the Principal Assistant Program Manager (PAPM) for Modernization and Life Cycle Management in planning and monitoring program activities. These types of jobs often perform a subset of project management tasks including executing, monitoring one ore more aspects of the program and program support functions. E.g. Program support functions – Program Operations Manager, PMO Lead, Resource Manager, Risk Manager, etc.

The Opportunity:

  • Interface with the Modernization and Life Cycle Management Teams.

  • Analyze Modernization/Maturity metrics and schedule milestones.

  • Prepare reports and briefs for meetings, conferences and summits, as required.

  • Gather/Track monthly metrics for the Modernization team.

  • Coordinate with Aircraft Carrier community stakeholders.

  • Track and assist in the resolution of Action Items related to the Modernization Team.

  • Develop Naval Messages for Aircraft Carrier Availabilities

  • Attend meetings as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive support to program Modernization Managers in their management of area responsibilities in accordance with Aircraft Carriers.

  • Maintain Modernization metrics, maturity data, and dashboard for Ship Availabilities and Milestones.

  • Finalize briefings/presentations, correspondence, issue papers, position papers, naval messages, memoranda, letters, and other correspondence.

  • Provide administrative support of Government issued and approved shipbuilding statements of work for Technical Instructions (TI). This administrative support is composed of version control, maintenance of historical files, development of templates and organizing government technical input into a draft product for Program Manager approval.

  • Assist in the development of Liaison Action Record responses and interface, as required, with activities/codes involved in developing, or concurring in responses.

Qualifications:

Required: 

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) and 5 years of related or applicable professional experience.

  • Ability to interface efficiently with team members and technical leads.

  • Possesses an active DoD Secret Clearance.

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Must have good written communication, interpersonal, problem solving, analytical, detail-oriented, and mathematical and organization skills.

Desired:

  • Bachelor's Degree in General Studies or related Business Field.

  • NAVSEA PEO Aircraft Carriers experience a plus.

  • Aircraft Modernization knowledge or experience is a plus.
