Job Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Engineer to support the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) located at Ft. Liberty, NC. The Network Engineer will be supporting key network engineering initiatives.   

Responsibilities:

• Design, install, and maintain the network system
• Maintain and review system and security logs, manage network performance, Troubleshoot and resolve network problems
• Maintain user accounts and system security plans
• Perform configuration, administration, troubleshooting, and support of networking devices, WAN/LAN optimization systems, VoIP/RoIP/Video, and encryption devices
• Maintain server hardware and software, system security, baseline configurations, and incident response procedures

Requirements:

• CCNA Required, CCNP Preferred
• DOD 8570 IAT Level II required (Level III preferred)
• Experience with Enterprise Email (MS Exchange 2010 & 2013)
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory administration and Windows Server platforms (2008/2012R2)
• Experience with server virtualization (VMWare VCP5 or Microsoft Hyper-V)
• BA/BS or equivalent 3 - 5 yrs. of experience
• ITIL v3 Certification required
• Understanding of the Cisco UCS integrated infrastructure and Flexpod Data Center solutions
• Core Routing and Switching: EIGRP, GRE tunnels, InterVLAN routing, redistribution, ACLs, Multicast, QoS, NBAR, NAT, VPN, Layer 2/3 switching, HSRP, Spanning tree
• Supplement Routing and Switching: TACACS, VoIP (Cisco Call Manager), RoIP (Wave), LAN/WAN optimization (Riverbed), monitoring solutions (Solarwinds/NetMRI), encryption devices (KG175, KG250, etc)
• Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance Experience

Location: Ft Liberty, NC (100% onsite)

Duration: 9-month Contract-to-Hire (CTH), conversion to a full time employee with the Prime after 9 months

Salary Range: $120,000 - $131,000 **depending on experience**
