Job Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Specialist to join a long-term DoD program contract job opportunity supporting the Department of the Navy located in Quantico, VA. The Network Specialist will assist with end-user desktop support across numerous Marine Corps installations worldwide. This position requires an ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE and an ACTIVE SECURITY+ CERTIFICATION.

Responsibilities for the Network Specialist:

• Monitor the infrastructure and network by responding effectively to technical issues
• Help resolve connectivity, OS, Microsoft/Office, and Video Teleconference issues
• Work directly with Marines, Government Civilians, and contractors to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues 
• Meet service goals by opening and closing tickets, executing scripts, and answering calls

Qualifications for the Network Specialist:

• 2-8+ Years of Network Admin experience
• Experience with troubleshooting, ticketing systems, and support for IT devices
• Active IAT II Certification: CompTIA Security+, CCNA Security, CySA+, or equivalent/higher (CCNA highly desired)
• Must have an Active SECRET Clearance

Compensation for the Network Specialist:

• Salary Range: $55,000-120,000/year **depending on experience**
