Schedule:           Mon.-Fri., 8am-5pm

Job Status:            Full Time

Reports To:            Systems Engineering Manager

Supervise:             N/A

Travel Required: 10% - 25%

POSITION SUMMARY:

As an OEC Engineer, you'll leverage your expertise in Hydraulic Fracturing, utilize EVO digital tools, and apply interpersonal skills to enhance efficiency within the EVO engineering team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Collaborate with SQEs and respective partners to provide completions procedures for internal teams.
  • Review completions procedures in detail and configure various EVO systems consistently.
  • Collaborate with SQEs, SREs, and Business Development for detailed Contract reviews.
  • Determine potential pass-through items for partners in collaboration with Operations & SQEs.
  • Engage with vendors for Jobs involving EVO's responsibility for Acid, Chemicals, Proppants, or other services.
  • Ensure accurate coding and recording of Activity logs with SREs for team utilization.
  • Track and update pump-times, acid, chemicals, and other Stage information daily for Billing requirements for responsible EVO fleets.
  • Align with Client representatives regularly on Pump times and NPT to prevent Billing delays.
  • Identify and streamline daily OEC tasks through automation.
  • Collaborate with data technology to maintain accuracy in diverse EVO reporting.
  • Adhere to safety and corporate guidelines on business ethics.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support successful operations and business continuity.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Successfully passes background checks, pre-employment drug screening, and any prerequisite competency assessments.
  • Possess a valid U.S. Driver’s License
  • Daily predictable attendance
  • Experience with pressure pumping KPIs
  • Experience with applicable EVO software or similar systems

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE LEVEL:

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering
  • 2+ years of oilfield experience, preferably with pressure pumping activities

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES, AND ABILITIES:

  • A strong understanding of Hydraulic Fracturing Operations
  • Ability to proficiently use Microsoft Office applications, as well as other advanced software.
  • Self-motivation and ability to work independently.
  • Multitasking, strong interpersonal communication, and attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to learn.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR ADVANCEMENT:

(Promotions may occur only after the following qualifications have been satisfied. Promotions are not guaranteed and are subject to availability of position openings.)

  • Time in Position: 1 year or more
  • Demonstrated understanding of contracts associated with client partner(s)
  • Demonstrated initiatives to achieve a Net 30 payment terms for EVO Billing with respective partner(s).
  • Significant contribution and support in the automation of OEC daily tasks

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

 Frequently required to walk, sit, climb, bend, reach and squat/kneel. The position listed works primarily indoors and will be sitting for prolonged periods at a desk, whether in home office, corporate office, client office, or EVO jobsite.  Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities. When required to go to a wellsite, the work environment may include exposure to hazardous materials, operating conditions, audio up to 85 dB and inclement weather, including typical and atypical outdoor elements and extreme cold and hot weather temperatures. Given these conditions, if visiting a pad, you may be required to wear company mandated and issued personal protective equipment (PPE) (fire retardant coveralls, safety hat, steel-toe boots, safety glasses, ear protection and impact gloves) and must strictly adhere to all safety policies. You must be able to lift 25 lbs. independently.

Work hours may include early morning, late afternoon/evening hours, and weekends in combination depending on job necessity.
