General Summary:

Manages, coordinates, and executes program operations, plans, and activities to effectively meet team and program goals. Develops and maintains schedules for programs to ensure timely delivery of products, adapting plans as needed based on changes. Tracks and manages purchase requisitions, demand, and supply according to program requirements and milestones. Works with team to identify, resolve, and/or mitigate issues or risks. Collaborates with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to understand requirements and share updates on program progress, costs, and performance.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
•    Develops and manages moderately complex build/program supply schedules and milestones to support timely delivery of products to customers; adapts plans and schedules in response to changes or setbacks and shares updates with stakeholders.
•    Coordinates pre-build and review meetings across teams (e.g., quality, engineering, program management) to understand build readiness, changes, and special build requests.
•    Manages and executes moderately complex plans, operations, and activities to meet team and program needs during pre-production and the transition into production.
•    Assesses, tracks, and presents metrics related to the progress, costs, and performance of moderately-sized builds/programs; identifies and escalates issues as needed.
•    Identifies hardware requirements and coordinates with different teams to secure hardware and test capacity.
•    Manages the creation and tracking of moderately-sized purchase requisitions and POs with suppliers; expedites requests as needed to ensure program deadlines are met and builds are progressing according to schedules.
•    Loads demand from parts lists and manages demand and materials using tools and MRP systems; manages excess and obsolete materials.
•    Gathers information from multiple sources and conducts analyses in order to identify, troubleshoot, document, and resolve issues.
•    Identifies risks related to supply or programs and appropriately escalates to stakeholders; works with team to develop and recommend plans to resolve or mitigate risks.
•    Builds collaborative relationships with key internal teams (e.g., Engineers, Program Management, and Business Operations) and external stakeholders to address customer needs and issues in a timely manner.
•    Discusses developmental areas and opportunities with team members to encourage skill growth. Takes time to mentor others on work assignments and provides constructive feedback, even when not required. Manages team project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables for moderately complex programs.

Level of Responsibility:
•    Works under some supervision.
•    May provide supervision to direct reports.
•    Decisions are moderate in nature. Errors are detected and corrected with relatively minor financial impact or effect on projects, operations, or customer relationships. May require involvement beyond immediate work group to correct.
•    Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey information that may be somewhat complex to others who may have limited knowledge of the subject in question. Role may require basic negotiation and influence, cooperation, tact, and diplomacy, etc. 
•    May work within the prescribed budgetary objectives of the department. Erroneous decisions, failure to achieve results may cause delays in schedules and result in the re-allocation of some resources.
•    Has a moderate amount of influence over key organizational decisions (e.g., is consulted by senior leadership to make key decisions).
•    Most tasks require multiple steps which can be performed in various orders; some planning and prioritization must occur to complete the tasks effectively; mistakes may result in some rework.
•    Creativity is needed to draft original documents, imagery, or work products within established guidelines.  
•    Deductive problem solving is required to solve moderately complex problems; most problems have defined processes of diagnosis/detection; some limited data analysis may be required.
•    Occasionally participates in strategic planning within own area affecting immediate operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of relevant operations experience.
OR
Associate's degree and 4+ years of relevant operations experience.
OR
High School Diploma or equivalent and 6+ years of relevant operations experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

•    Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.

•    4+ years of program management or related work experience.

•    4+ years of experience with program management tools (e.g., Excel, MRP systems).

•    2+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with executive leadership (e.g., Director level and above).

•    1+ year of working with operating budgets, resources, and/or project financials.

•    1+ year in a leadership role with or without direct reports (only applies to positions with direct reports).
