The Opportunity:

The Global Combat Support System-Marine Corps program is seeking an Oracle Application Database Administrator to be part of a team that improves Marine Corps combat effectiveness by continuing to provide cutting-edge business information. GCSS-MC utilizes Oracle R12 E-Business Suite (EBS) Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Oracle 19c Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) applications to provide functions that include asset visibility, supply, maintenance, readiness, task organization, repairs, request tracking, and financial information.

Responsibilities:

The Application Database Administrator will support and maintain multiple Oracle RAC Clusters, RDBMS, EBS, and FMW environment instances in support of the Global Combat Supply System Marine Corps (GCSS-MC) ERP. The selected candidate will support the Solutions Development Environment (SDE) by ensuring that the environment is documented, patched, secured, and available. The candidate should have experience in a large, dynamic, highly available Oracle EBS/ERP environment.

Qualifications:

Required

  • 5+ Years of IT experience, with experience in a large-scale Oracle EBS ERP sustainment experience
  • Experience administering Oracle Fusion Middleware, Oracle EBS R12.2 and Oracle OEM13c
  • Must have experience with installation and support of Oracle RAC, 11G, 12c and 19c databases
  • Experience working on Oracle EBS upgrade projects including upgrades to Oracle database major versions
  • Working knowledge of Maintaining DoD security Standards and Rules, including those related to the databases (e.g., Oracle CPU patching, access management, direct grant, db links, etc.)
  • Experience in security monitoring, managing, and testing, such as IAVA's, patches, STIGs etc.
  • Must be able to apply performance tuning techniques to both Oracle applications and databases
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or other relevant degree fields or equivalent years of experience in the field
  • Experience with Oracle Enterpriser Manager (EM) Cloud Control
  • Experience in using AMP tool for patch deployment
  • Experience with instance cloning for application and database
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

Desired

  • Relevant certifications, to include Security +, and an Oracle certification related to the above activities.
  • Experience in designing and implementing single sign-on architecture of various supporting application such as SOA, OBIEE using available tools including but not limited to OAM/OID, and load balancing.
  • Ability to pass a T5 Clearance Background Investigation.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$82,100-$172,400
