In this pivotal role, you will go beyond traditional metrics like CPMs, CPCs, and GRPs to develop innovative, disruptive media strategies on a global scale.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paid Search, Data & Ad Tech Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing paid search campaigns, as well as evaluating and implementing ad tech solutions to enhance our digital marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in paid search advertising, experience with ad tech platforms, and a passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends. You will be the in-house expert, driving strategy and execution across multiple campaigns and business units. Key Responsibilities:
Create and manage paid search (SEM) activations for 10+ campaigns, tailoring success metrics to different business unit goals and KPIs. This includes keyword research, ad copy development, ads trafficking, bid management, conversion tracking, reporting, and performance monitoring.
Create regular and ad-hoc reports on SEM campaigns for business units in a variety of formats.
Use data from various sources and collaborate with analysts and strategists to make strategic and tactical recommendations to business units about content and media strategies.
Assist in tag management activities, including auditing implementations and managing and troubleshooting repairs.
Maintain knowledge of paid search best practices and implement those best practices on our paid search campaigns.
Oversee and implement YouTube campaigns internally
Lead the evaluation, implementation, and management of ad tech platforms to optimize campaign performance and streamline workflows.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new ad tech solutions, providing recommendations for adoption as appropriate.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years of paid search advertising experience
3+ years of experience with ad tech platforms (e.g., DSPs, SSPs, ad exchanges, ad servers)
Proficiency in Google Ads (certification required) and other search platforms/tools
Experience with data analysis tools and techniques, with the ability to derive insights from complex datasets
Comfort with public speaking and/or other performing arts skills
SEO, Account-Based Marketing, or YouTube experience is a plus
Strong project management skills, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Innovative thinker with a keen interest in technology and digital marketing trends
Detail-oriented and data-driven, committed to making decisions based on clear data
Self-motivated, with the ability to identify problems and proactively propose solutions
Ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Strong presentation skills, capable of both creating engaging content and delivering it effectively
Note: While YouTube experience is beneficial, our primary focus is on paid search and ad tech expertise. Candidates with strong backgrounds in these areas will be considered even if they have limited YouTube experience, as training will be provide

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:
$111,200.00 - $166,800.00The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
