General Summary:
A Passive Optical Network (PON) is a telecommunication technology that implements a point-to-multipoint architecture which provides a promising migration path from 2.5G GPON to XGSPON, 25GS-PON then 50GS-PON for the operator.
PON combines cost-effectiveness, high speeds, efficiency, and reliability, making it a compelling solution for modern broadband services.
As a PON software engineer, you will work closely with the ASIC engineers to
develop the drivers and software stack required for the PON chip. In the development of new chip,
the team will try to find the best solutions across the hardware ASIC and software, your ideas and innovation might be implemented in the chip then delivered all over the world.
You will collaborate with colleagues from various teams to implement new features,
translate customer requirements or requests from other departments into actionable solutions,
contribute to enhancing the functionality and capabilities of the PON systems.
You will have the chance to learn the details of different components, including Switch, Wi-Fi, PON system,
gain hands-on experience by exploring how these components interact and contribute to overall network performance.
【Qualification and Requirement】
Familiar with C language, Shell script, Linux kernel programming, Multiple thread programming
Good understanding of PON network
