The Opportunity:CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed, Position, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Subject matter Expert supporting the Depart of Defense Chief Information Office National Leadership Command Capabilities (NLCC) office. Supporting the NLCC Contract at the Department of Defense located at the Pentagon, Washington DC.
You will work with a dedicated, technically proficient team of national leadership command control and communications professionals supporting efforts to modernize and improve to the communications and IT systems critical to the Department of Defense mission success.
Responsibilities:- You will become a key member of the Pentagon's National Leadership Command Capabilities (NLCC) Management Office (NMO) assisting in establishing, revising, and updating DOD PNT policy, affecting digital modernization of DoD IT systems, and tracking NLCC programs
- Support the DoD CIO’s role as the Secretary of Defense’s principal staff assistant (PSA) for PNT policy, oversight, and guidance on PNT enterprise-wide architecture and requirements. Serving as a SME for PNT policy within the NMO, act as the DoD representative during specified interagency, domestic, and international (allied) PNT related forums Work to ensure new and existing DoD PNT capabilities are secure, integrated, survivable, enduring, and available under all conditions
- Attend high-level DoD, intergovernmental, and international community meetings providing professional judgment and NLCC expertise on behalf of the government customer. Serving as the CIO’s representative to the broader civil, intergovernmental / interagency community with particular focus on the PNT aspects of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) functions
- Provide research and system engineering oversight of, and coordination with the various DoD GPS, PNT and NAVWAR development activities
- Use your strong writing skills to Prepare CIO issue papers for inclusion in the annual Presidents Budget/Program Objective Memorandum cycles to acquire PNT program funding, draft senior-level correspondence, and quality control CATMS package responses
- Prepare for and represent the DoD CIO C3 (NMO) at directed during PNT related working groups, EMBs, and Council Meetings
Qualifications:
Required: - Active TS/SCI required.
- Master's degree (MA/MS) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related technical discipline and a minimum of 15 years of total experience in a relevant field, showcasing exceptional expertise.
- Self-motivated hard charger that is comfortable with rapidly evolving changes in a highly visible dynamic environment.
- Strong writing skills able to provide final executive level briefing slides, correspondence and package reviews.
- knowledge of DOD (services, components, COCOMs, etc.) and the various players that are stakeholders in the Senior leader communications mission domains
- Technical expertise and skills with office products (word, excel, teams etc).
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to serve as a customer-facing expert.
Desired:- Working knowledge of Microsoft Project for the Web
- Strong working knowledge of pentagon processes and offices

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$85,800 - $180,200
