As a Qualcomm Software Engineer, you will design, develop, create, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and/or specialized utility programs that launch cutting-edge, world class products that meet and exceed customer needs. Qualcomm Software Engineers collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, test engineers, and other teams to design system-level software solutions and obtain information on performance requirements and interfaces.

Minimum Qualifications:

•    Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

• 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

Job Overview :

 SW program/code/script development in Qualcomm Platform
- Analyze the power/performance bottleneck of mobile platform
- Provide advice and co-work with other teams to improve the power.
- New feature/requirement estimation, development, validation, and release
- Co-work with internal global Tech teams, PM teams, and CE teams
- Co-work with Chipset team to do power projection/Analysis/Optimization
- Descript/Analyze/Solve power issue/problem from SW and HW side
- Be responsible of studying and observing frontier technical and research of Mobile
- Collect logs / RAM Dump and track issue/problem resolved

Minimum Qualifications:

1.Demontrated programming skills in C/C++/Python.
2.Strong knowledge on Moblie architecture, including CPU, GPU, Memory and perapherials. 
3. Strong knowledge on Linux kernel develeloment - CPU Sched, Frequency DCVS, BW governor, CPU LPM and  drivers.
4. Basic knowledge on digital and analog cirtuits
5. Strong analytical and debugging skills
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Chinese and English
7. More than 5 years work experience on embedded system and chipset.
