We are hiring a Principal Engineer-Full Stack to work with an exciting team in an exciting space. This position is responsible for developing new sales and service experiences for All access home internet (Tanglewood) in our FWA product lineup. Our team is a close-knit and lean organization of high performing individuals focused on creating best-in-class solutions within Verizon dealing with development in the North Star Architecture. The group prides itself on its ability to be quick, agile and innovative. We're looking for a highly motivated individual with skills to work on Sales and Service systems.
Architecting/Designing/leading the programs for the all access home internet Agile Core Team Deliverables.
Architecting and implementing E2E All access home internet FWA product Sales/service flows including the self setup and professional setup flows, 5G false positive analysis, 5G Cancel analysis.
Architecting and implementing the Common Loop Qualification Platform for enabling Home Internet sales (All access, MMW, C-Band, LTE & FiOS).
Leading Home internet sales ordering(FWA-5G/LTE & Fios) Growth, including the expansion of All access home, 5G-CBand, 5G mmw, overseeing the E2E sales flows for the latest 5G product launches. Enabling 5G Home sales flows for our customers in new markets.
Leading and facilitating team meetings, cross-functional workshops, and process work-outs.
Leading the group of developers to build systems & applications using complex algorithms to deliver business functions or architectural components.
Providing a system architecture that improves designs & mapping form to function.
Educating team members about integrating systems collaboratively & efficiently.
Keeping abreast of emerging industry trends to continuously update Verizon’s operations and assess how competition differs from Verizon’s current state.
Communicating the business value of technical solutions.
Discovering mutually beneficial solutions across customers while recognizing different styles.
Ensuring all service level SLAs are documented and met, and coordinate with infrastructure operations on monitoring and implementation procedures.
Conforming to existing industry and Verizon security coding standards adhering to fortify scan and other security tool review requirements.
Reviewing with development teams to ensure the code meets business requirements, adheres to Verizon security and code standards; Align with Business, Security and GTS leadership on KPIs and executive reporting.
Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
Experience with software development experience on Web/ hybrid / native app development.
Experience in web application / solution architecture and Java/J2EE and HTML5 development with knowledge of mobile ecosystems.
Experience in Front end development with JavaScript technologies – ReactJS or other similar JS frameworks.
Experience in creating Micro services, Restful API, GraphQL & working knowledge in Java web based technologies, Spring Boot, Spring reactive framework and Spring Cloud to create micro-services.
Experience in Customer journey platform like Pega.
Experience using Confluence collaboration tools, DevOps suite of tools such as Jira, Jenkins, and GIT/Stash.
Experience in Elastic Search, Kibana.
Experience in AWS Cloud.
Knowledge of secure coding with OWASP coding practices, Fortify and Blackduck or equivalent security scanning software.
Strong teamwork & collaboration skills to work across organizations and lead cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical skills and demonstrated success of meeting/exceeding business objectives.
Experience with creating executive presentations and storytelling.
Experience partnering with multi-disciplinary teams and directing the work of others in a matrixed environment.
Experience presenting insights and recommendations in a concise and consumable narrative.
Experience with building strong relation with business partners and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on time.
Demonstrate leadership to organize and manage technical tasks by leveraging team collaboration.
Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills appropriate for a team leader role.
