What you’ll be doing...

Design and develop OSS (Operations Support Systems) solutions for wholesale and services on Intelligent Edge network (IEN). Collaborate with business partners and systems architects to design end to end systems flows and processes for network provisioning applications. Evaluate solution’s alignment with the end user experience. Develop system architecture to improve designs and mapping form to function using Java, J2EE, REST API, Microservices, J2SE, JEE, Spring, Hibernate, Structs, SOA, SOAP messaging, multi-threading technologies, XSLT, JEXL, JSP, JNDI, ANT, Maven, Gradle, Domain Driven Design, Tomcat, WebLogic, Message Oriented Architecture, JDBC, JPA, EJB, Java Message Service, JUnit, Mockito, Postman, curl, Apache Kafka, Oracle Service Bus, Flume, Logstash, and Splunk. Monitor metrics and systems, and identify and resolve problems. Collaborate with systems architects and delivery team to develop systems solution roadmap and monitor progress. Work on Telecom Operations Support Systems Software, and Telecom Network technologies and services such as Wave, Ethernet, and VPN. Communicate business value of technical solutions. Evaluate security impacts on design and development process of networks. Reduce security threats using security tools and software applications. Collaborate with IT teams to drive software delivery, testing, and operationalization in production environment.

What we’re looking for...

Master’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field, and 3 years of experience in the job offered or as a Systems Engineer, Systems Architect, or in a related/similar position. Experience therein to include 3 years designing and developing solutions using Java, J2EE, REST API, Microservices, J2SE, JEE, Spring, Hibernate, Structs, SOA, SOAP messaging, multi-threading technologies, XSLT, JEXL, JSP, JNDI, ANT, Maven, Gradle, Domain Driven Design, Tomcat, WebLogic, Message Oriented Architecture, JDBC, JPA, EJB, Java Message Service, JUnit, Mockito, Postman, curl, Apache Kafka, Oracle Service Bus, Flume, Logstash, and Splunk; C and C++; relational database technologies such as Oracle and Informix; scripting and migration tools; Bash, Ksh, Perl, Python, awk, sed, Hadoop, Pig, and Hive; Agile and SDLC methodologies; front end technologies such as Angular JS, React JS, HTML, and CSS; DevOps tools like JIRA, Jenkins, and Git; security frameworks; Cloud technologies; Telecom Operations Support Systems Software, and Telecom Network technologies and services such as Wave, Ethernet, and VPN. Hybrid role, ability to work from home.

Where you’ll be working

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.
