As a Qualcomm Hardware Application Engineer, you will provide technical expertise of hardware through trainings, product demonstrations, and the design, debug, test, and quality support of customer products. Qualcomm Hardware Application Engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the potential application of company products that meet and exceed customer needs.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.Job Overview
Execute daily customer requested build integration and release, work/Coordinate with each tech team for code integration, compiling and releasing.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with Technical Account Manager (TAM) for customer build release schedule/priority. Follow up code change with develop POC along with TAM.
- Integration: Integrate change from tech teams, resolve build failures along with develop tech team.
- Maintain release information and communicate with internal and external team.
- Support Tools team to optimize the build tool chain for better user experience of build release.
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry level, new grad 1-2 years’ experience - Preferred BS degree (CS or EE)
- Software development in the following: C, C++, Perl, Python
- Previous experience in Wireless protocols (CDMA, WCDMA, GSM, WLAN), LTE.
- Version Control Software: Perforce, ClearCase, or equivalent.
- Build integration experience.
