Job Description:

CACI is seeking an enthusiastic, action-oriented, organized and cleared Headquarters Program Action Officer to support the leadership of a major Navy Program. The Opportunity:

  • Provide daily on-site support to a dynamic and innovative program office at the Washington DC Navy Yard.  

  • Coordinate with the Executive Assistant to schedule and organize meetings for the Major Program Manager.

  • Lead administrative operations, including communication with outside parties and maintaining comprehensive and accurate records.

  • Report office progress to senior management and work with them to improve office operations and procedures.

  • Write reports on the status of major projects, after meeting action item reports, and other reports and updates that keep leadership always informed on the status of assignments, projects and general operations.

  • Proofread for grammar and punctuation with a high level of accuracy.

Qualifications:

Required: 

  • US Citizenship

  • Active DOD Secret security clearance

  • Experience with Navy headquarters program operations

  • Experience supporting senior Navy leadership

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint

  • Attention to detail

Desired:

  • Experience or familiarity with Navy modernization or sustainment support.
