Job Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Program Analyst to support the Army Futures Command, Futures and Concepts Center (FCC) in assessing threats and future operational environments, developing future concepts, requirements, and an integrated modernization pathway to increase lethality. The Program Analyst will support the AFC customers in a program acquisition support capacity.

Location: Fort Eustis, Virginia (On-site)

Job Type: Full-time

Clearance Requirement: Secret (Must be willing to be nominated for access to Sensitive Compartment Information and Special Access Programs and willing to consent to a Polygraph examination.)

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Futures and Concepts Center (FCC) with program management.
  • Evaluate capability data and its implications for assigned programs.
  • Determine how programs apply to future missions (e.g., field artillery, air defense, intelligence).
  • Integrate information into Army and Joint Service objectives.
  • Identify new requirements for development or improvement.
  • Collaborate with various Army and Joint Service stakeholders.
  • Lead work groups and prepare briefing materials.
  • Facilitate the approval process for materiel solution requirements.
  • Manage and track the progress of requirements through review steps.
  • Build and maintain a network of key action officers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of Army Command experience.
  • Experience with the Army Futures Command is highly desired.
  • Active Secret clearance.
  • Experience in developing new capabilities and solutions.
  • Strong understanding of DOD, Army, AFC, and FCC priorities and operations.
  • Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams in complex environments.
  • Knowledge of the Requirements Management and Joint Capabilities Integration and Development Systems process.

Desired Experience:

  • Graduate from Command and General Staff College.
  • Completion of relevant Defense Acquisition University courses.
  • Experience with Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS).

Compensation:

  • Salary Range: $100,000 - $125,000 (based on experience).
  • Benefits: Cigna medical, dental, vision, 401k, 20 days paid time off, 11 federal holidays, and sick leave as required by law.
