General Summary:

Reporting directly to the Senior Director HR Portfolio Management, the HR Portfolio Management Analyst will employ best-practice project management principles to coordinate the framing and execution of key HR projects. This role will work collaboratively with teams both within and outside of HR to ensure success and alignment with HR and organizational priorities. This role will also support 3-Year Strategic Planning, PMO-activities, and Budgeting / Cost Management efforts for the HR Function.

This role is based in our Mexico City, MX office and must report to the office 5 days a week.

Minimum Qualifications:

•    Bachelor's degree.
OR
Associate's degree and 2+ years of relevant work experience.
OR
High School Diploma or equivalent and 4+ years of relevant work experience.

Key Duties:

  • Project Preparation: Assist project managers and project owners in developing project charters, timelines, resources, and tools (e.g., SharePoint, team channels, group lists). Engage with project leaders to understand their vision and concerns.

  • Detailed Planning: Maintain project management plans, including resource allocations, schedules, RAID logs, metric progress, reporting, and workflows. Revisit objectives regularly to ensure the project stays on track.

  • Accountability: Facilitate and schedule regular project cadences and check-ins to track progress, prioritize needs, and address any issues early. Communicate progress and ensure compliance with processes and guidelines.

  • Risk Mitigation: Develop a risk register early in the project, review it regularly with the project manager or project owner, and update mitigation strategies as the project evolves.

  • Change Management: Manage tracking resources to monitor change impacts on scope, timelines, and resources. Communicate clearly with the project manager or owner to minimize disruption.

  • Transition Planning: Ensure a smooth transition by understanding the project scope and current status. Support developing a project transition plan that will be endorsed by the team and help manage hand-off through project close.

  • Continuous Improvement: Manage a backlog of lessons learned. Facilitate lessons learned exercises and update knowledge playbooks.

  • 3YR Strategic Planning Support: Develop presentations and analysis from gathered HR data.

  • PMO Support: Support tracking HR goals, develop goal management reports and summaries.

  • Budget / Cost Management Support: support the preparation and management of the HR budget. Track expenditures, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure alignment with HR goals. Provide regular budget reports and analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or associate’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience., or High School Diploma with 4+ years of relevant experience.

  • PMP certification with proven experience in project management, preferably within HR.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with data management and analysis.

  • Knowledge of HR processes and systems.
