The Opportunity:

CACI is currently looking for a Project Manager Support Intern for summer 2025 to join our team supporting Naval Undersea Warfare Center Newport for the Department of Defense.  Join our passionate team of industry-leading individuals on a program that leverages the best practices in Systems Engineering and Rapid Prototyping to integrate and deliver state of the art capability in support of our nation’s warfighters.

This position will be located in Crane, IN and will have the possibility of a hybrid work schedule with 4 days in the office and 1 day remote.

Responsibilities:

  •   Candidates will analyze, develop, and design documentation for projects to perform activities in support of customer requirements.

  •   The selected individual must be a self-starter, capable of working with minimal oversight and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  •   Gathers and distributes information to subcontractors and service providers, through initiating, preparing, and reviewing all documentation requested by the program.

  •   Assists in preparation of monthly owner project status reports, as required.

  •   Attends project meetings as requested.

  •   Document analysis and control.

  •   Assist project managers in tracking cost, quality and schedule of projects

  •   Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    Required: 

    • Must currently be a full-time Undergraduate, Graduate or Doctorate student pursuing a Business, Finance or related major
    • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
    • Ability to work in excel fluently as well as other Microsoft applications
    • Excellent technical writing and data presentation skills
    • Ability to think analytically and independently.
    • Team orientation
    • Excellent problem-solving skills
    • Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in written form.
    • Willingness to learn new skills.

    Desired:

    • Experience leading group projects
    • Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently
    • Demonstrated ability to prepare data-driven reports

    The proposed salary range for this position is:

    $35,776 - $52,300
