Salary: $175,000 - $220,000

Certification Requirement: Security+ or any certification listed under IAT Level II

Role Overview:

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Red Hat OpenShift Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team in Texas. This role requires an individual with extensive experience in DevOps and cloud platform consulting, particularly with Red Hat technologies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and the ability to lead small teams in delivering standard solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a solution lead for small-sized teams, delivering standard solutions.
• Influence Client Architects, technical individual contributors, and project managers.
• Develop process, concept, and technical knowledge in pre-sales and delivery within at least one Area of Expertise and related Red Hat Services Solutions.
• Maintain connections with Red Hat teams outside of the career path.
• Ensure successful delivery of modern cloud platform consulting engagements.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Technical Certifications: Security+ and network-related certifications.
• Cloud Platform Consulting: Proven experience in delivering successful modern cloud platform consulting engagements.
• Linux System Administration: Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or a derivative.
• Source Code Management: Prior experience with tools such as GitLab.
• Automation Tools: Experience with or working knowledge of Ansible.
• Enterprise Cloud Solutions: Experience with Platform-as-a-Service solutions.
• Container Technologies: Proficiency with Docker, Podman, and Kubernetes.
• Networking Principles: Basic knowledge of TCP, DNS, DHCP, and IPs.
• Identity Management: Experience with Red Hat Identity Management (IdM).

Additional Skillsets:

• Strong DevOps background.
• Ability to work onsite, with potential for hybrid arrangements depending on project requirements.
